Memorial to Zibby
Our beloved friend of 15 years

Those of you that know me and my product, you may have seen my zibby boxes with the surprise inside.

Well what you didn't know, is their were named after our Shih tzu of 15 years "Zibby". He has been such a blessing to the entire family.

Born on Oct.20,1995 he was a true libra, well balanced and good natured to all. His name was created by my daughter Lauren at age 4, when we were expecting our second child, who is now Lindsy.  Lauren thought Zibby was just the right name for the baby. Well we love the name, but just not for our daughter.  Such a great name need just the right indiviual to carry it  and MR. ZIb was just the guy.

His greatest joy was to just be with us.  We got him when our daughters were 7 and 3, so he grewup with them. He was a gift from their grandmother and what a gift he was. If they were down or sick he was the first  to be next to them to try and make them feel better. His whole purpose in life was to be loved and give love back. Of course boiler chicken wasn't a bad add on. He loved that.

Zibby was the one who woudl let you know when the Mandy our Aussie had to go out . She would be quite, but he would raise a fuss  and then stand at the door while she went out. He was always trying to help everyone in his own small way.

Every Christmas morning,  we all looked forward to seeing Zibby's reaction to  three little words "Did Santa Come?" he would get so excited it made the morning even more special, to see Mandy and he get their gifts with such joy.

You know, children grow up and that Christmas joy calm down, but with these  puppies it never did. Every year, there it was, Pure Joy.

I know each of you, that have had one of these special souls grace your own lives, know how hard it is to say good bye. But that is just what we had to do this past Sunday Aug. 9 2010.

Zibby had gotten very ill and had been trying for over a year to hold on. Sunday he was just  worn out. So with the family by his side we said  our goodbyes but he will be not forgotten.

Reason I named my little box the Zibby box is because I hope it brings you a moment of  suprise or joy into your life, just like the joys Zibby  brought into our lives .

Sleep peacefully my angle and know we are never more them a thought apart.

 Memories keep love alive.

The Eternal Rose  By Ellen C. Lyner copy rights1995

There a rose that grows eternal in the garden of our soul.

Where the season always springtime, never touched by winter cold.

The rose, it grows from memories, tended by laughter love and care.

And the rose will grow eternal when those memories are shared.
